Apple just released macOS Catalina 10.15 Beta 4 for testing purpose for Developers. The 3rd Beta for macOS Catalina was released on 3rd July 2019 (Read: MacOS 10.15 Catalina Public Beta 3 ). Those Apple users who are part of Apple Developer Program can now download the macOS Catalina 10.15 Beta 4 on their secondary systems by going to system preferences. We recommend you not to download the Beta version on your primary system as Beta versions are full of bugs and might ruin the experience for you.
macOS Catalina 10.15 Features
macOS Catalina has eliminated the iTunes App and replaced it with different sections i.e. Music, Podcast, and TV App. The iPad Apps are now available on your MacBook. Apple Music and Apple Podcast Apps are available for now while the Apple TV App has yet to come out. Now you can enjoy the Apple music on your MacBook.
You can now be creative with iPad and Apple Pencil. With the new Sidecar feature, you can turn your iPad into a multi-display for your Mac by just clicking one button. Apple Pencil also works with this new feature. This new macOS Operating Software is bringing out so many new features in the Apps that are used in daily life.
Now Apple Watch can be used to approve security stimuli and other info in macOS Catalina, and Macs with a T2 chip now support Activation Lock, which will make them more secure. We’ve also got FindMy App for Mac now which was previously available for iPhone and iPads. This new App will help Mac users to find their device even when it is offline.
Project catalyst is the new Apple initiative which will let developers easily port their iPad apps over to the Mac to increase the number of Mac apps available.
New Photo-interface is available which will manage a gallery in such a way that best of your photos will be organized by days, months and years. Safari and mail App also got some changes.
