There are different sandboxes apps available for macOS which can stop any malicious application to harm your computer. But not all the applications are harmful and malicious. Sometimes the applications that are poor in quality may leave your computer stuck. The best way to fix your computer is to boot the computer in the safe mode. Safe mode can figure out the unusable system.
Run macOS in Safe Mode
In safe mode, the system works in a restrictive environment to run different applications. It is a restrictive mode for any kind of third-party apps that can make different changes to the system. The safe mode also disables some file-sharing services, third-party apps, and some other components which makes it very easy to remove any apps from the system that are the reason for the problems.
If you want to boot your macOS in safe mode, you need to shut down your system first and simply restart it. While the system is starting, tap and hold Shift key immediately after you press the power button to start your system.
By holding the Shift key until the login screen appears, as soon as you see the Apple logo with loading animation release the Shift Key and it will start to boot in the safe mode. It may take a bit more time than normal boot to load. After the logging in, make sure that you see the menu bar with Safe Boot in red.
If you don’t see the Safe Mode in the menu bar, you are not in safe mode. It is because you were late to press and hold the Shift key. For this, you need to restart and hold the Shift key again.
Exit Safe mode on macOS
Now after performing the desired operation, you can exit the safe mode just by restarting the system without holding down the Shift key as you normally start your system. Now the system will boot much faster and it will not show the Safe Mode in the menu bar.
