What is Siri?
Siri is basically an Apple’s voice-controlled assistant which helps the user to perform actions on their device just by uttering the words. Siri is like a friend to the Apple users, you assign it a task and she gets it done for you. The task could be anything from sending messages to making a reservation, Siri performs it with efficiency and accuracy. This feature is just like that one kid in class who knows everything, the more he/she grows the more intelligent they become.
This Apple feature lets you stay connected with the world without even lifting a finger. Siri is literally a life saver like if you’re driving and have to make an important call, you don’t have to lift your phone to do it, just say the words and it’s done. She has answers to all your questions.
How to Activate Siri on iPhone X and succeeding
To activate this useful feature for your iPhone X, XS, XR, XS MAX all you have to do is say “Hey Siri”. To invoke it on your iPhone, follow the instructions given below:
- Go to Settings in your iPhone, Tap on Siri & Search option
- Tap on Listen for “Hey Siri” under the Ask SIRI Toggle it on.
- Your device will ask you for the confirmation, click on Enable Siri to enable it.
- As you have enabled this feature, just say “Hey Siri” to bring it up for assistance.
Activate Siri using the Side button
Another way to activate Siri is by pressing the sleep/power button of the iPhone X and series. Just keep the side button pressed for 3 seconds and it will be activated for your assistance.
How to Exit Siri
In order to exit Siri, you have to press the side button to go to the home screen. Another way to do it is by swiping up from the bottom of your iPhone’s screen.
