Setting Microsoft Account to Outlook

Open the Security page and sign in with the Microsoft account. After signing in, click on ‘more security options’ link.
In the App Password section on the next page, click on “Create a new app password”. You will be able to generate a new password. Use the newly generated password and use it instead of the password you normally use.
Keep in mind that the Microsoft account is separate from the domain account that the email is for. In case the Microsoft Account email is a Gmail address, then to sign in to the Microsoft Account, use Microsoft account password for the Outlook online or Microsoft website and use Gmail password when logging into Gmail.
