By default, the vibration of your android device is set when you receive a notification or interact with it. If the vibration intensity of your android is too much for you, there’s an easy way to customize it. Phones running Android 10 or higher have the option to customize the vibration levels. Unfortunately, this option is not available for previous Android versions.

Here’s how you can do it:
First, open Settings on your Android device from the notification panel or from the app’s gallery.
Scroll down to the “Accessibility” option and enter the menu.
Again scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap “Vibrations and Haptic Strength” under the “Interaction Controls”.
Here, you can customize the vibration of your phone’s haptic feedback strength separately. Select how strongly your phone will buzz on a phone call or notification.
Three options are available to select the vibration intensity from:
- High
- Medium
- Low
- Off
Select one of the options and exit the menu to save settings.
On some devices like Google Pixel handsets, the intensity can be customized on a sliding scale.
