Skype now offers background blur feature that helps the users to hide their background without compromising the video quality. This feature is specially designed for hiding the messy background that helps the users to provide a neat and clean look to the other party. This feature greatly helps the formal skype meetings.
Blur the Background of Skype Calls
The latest version of Skype allows the users to blur the background in the video calls. This feature is only available for Skype desktop.
It is very easy to blur the background in the video calls, all you need is to change a single toggle button to blur the background. All you need is to open the skype and start a video call. Once the call is live, you need to open Skype settings and, in the ‘Audio & Video’ tab Turn on the “Blur my background” option under Camera Preview.
Now as soon as you return back to the call, the background will show up as blur and only you will be in focus.
As it is still not mature enough so you might see that sometimes the blur effect may disappear as you move. It is a good privacy feature for users who want to use their Skype for official meetings and conferences. This feature is available for both Mac and Windows Users.
