Customize Shortcut’s Icon on Windows 10
Here’s how you can do it:
Start by locating the shortcut icon that you want to change in your PC and right-click on it.
From the context menu that appears, select “Properties”.
Go to the “Search” tab in the shortcut properties pop-up window and click on the “Change Icon” button.
A “Change Icon” pop-up will appear on the screen from where you can select the shortcut icons. These shortcuts are available in a Windows System File called “imageres.dll”.
Choose from the already given icons or click on the “Browse” button to select a different icon. You can either select an EXE file, a DLL file, or an ICO file. Once you have selected an icon, click on the “OK” button
In the properties window, you will notice that the icon of the selected shortcut has changed to the one you just chose. Now, click on the “OK” button to save the settings.
