By default, Google Docs has a white background colour for each page. Luckily, you can customize the page colour according to your desire in Google Docs. Background colour can easily be changed in your page settings menu.

How to Change Page Colour in Google Docs
Here’s how you can do it:
Start by opening the Google Docs and creating a new file or open an already existing one.
Next, click on “File” in the menu bar. From the drop-down menu, select “Page setup” option.
The page Settings menu will pop-up on the screen, here you can select a new page colour by clicking on the circle given under the “Page Colour” heading.
A drop-down colour chart will appear showing various colours to select from.
You can choose the colour from the given ones or click on the “+” sign under the “CUSTOM” heading to pick the colour of your choice.
In the custom colour menu, you can move the pointer to find the desired colour through the colour matching tool. Slide the “Hue” bar to select the primary or secondary colour you want to use and then pick a shade.
Click on the “OK” button once you have found the colour you want to use.
Again, click on the “OK” button to save the changes you have made.
The background colour of all your Google Doc pages will be changed to the chosen one. Unfortunately, you cannot apply different colours to different pages.
