Change Spotify Account’s Password
Before you try to change your Spotify’s already existing account’s password, make sure you remember the current password. If you don’t remember the current password, you’ll have to reset it by using the email address attached to that account.
To change the Spotify’s password, follow the steps mentioned below:
You cannot change Spotify’s password through the app or desktop app so you will need to head to the desktop browser in order to achieve the purpose. Launch your favorite browser and go to Spotify Official website.
Log-in to your already existing Spotify account by providing the username and password.
Click on the “Profile” at the top-right corner of the screen, and select “Account” from the drop-down menu.
You will see the overview of your account here. Click on “Change Password” from the side panel of the Account overview screen.
Here, you can change your password by typing in the current password and the new password. When you are done setting the new password, click on the “Set New Password” button.
