Connecting to the Internet using the cellular phone network is termed cellular data. When the android or iPhone users don’t have access to Wi-Fi connection, they can use Mobile Data to browse the Internet. It is very easy to turn cellular data on or off.

Disabling Cellular Data on iPhone through Control Center
Different iPhones have a different way to access the control center. If you’re using an iPhone X-style device with a notch at the top or an iPad, swipe down from the top-right edge of the screen. If you’re using an iPhone with a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center.
Once you have launched the Control Center, tap on the cellular data icon to turn it off. When the cellular data is on, the icon will be of green color but as soon as you turn it off it will turn grey.
Disabling Cellular Data through iPhone Settings
Here’s how you can turn off the mobile data through settings in iPhone:
- Launch device settings by tapping on the gear icon or by searching from spotlight search and tapping on search results to open it.
- Tap on “Cellular” in Settings.
- From the list tap on “Cellular Data” switch to toggle it on and off.
Mobile data will be turned off, you can repeat the same steps to turn it back on.
