Step 1
At first, you have to do is to install ‘NetSpeedMonitor’ application. Downloading and installing this app is the first step you have to complete to proceed further.
Step 2
Select the folder you want to install a software in. If you are having an OS below Windows 8, the installation process will keep going on without any kind of disturbance. IIn case, you are using Windows 8 or higher then you can get an error but to fix that error like OS not supported.
Step 3
To remove that error, right-click on the setup file of NetSpeedMonitor and click on the properties.

Within properties panel, click on the compatibility tab and then further click on the checkbox next to ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’. The dropdown’s selected option must be ‘Previous Version of Windows’ and click on OK to apply changes.
Step 5
After saving changes, start that installation process once again and keep following the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
Step 6
Installing NetSpeedMonitor app is not enough to show internet speed on taskbar automatically. You’ll have to enable that feature by yourself.
Step 7
Right Click on the taskbar and further move your cursor over Toolbars option to show list. From that list of toolbars, click on the NetSpeedMonitor option.
After clicking NetSpeedMonitor from toolbar list of the taskbar, you will notice your internet’s downloading and uploading speed on your taskbar.
