Microsoft Edge settings provide three options to select from for the browser theme (Light, Dark & System default). In this guide, we will teach you how to enable the dark theme for Microsoft Edge.

Enabling Dark theme for Microsoft Edge

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Launch the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge, and go to the settings by clicking on the three horizontal dots (…) and selecting “Settings” from the drop-down settings from the list of options
  2. Now select the “Appearance” given on the left panel of the Settings appearance from the left panel
  3. Click on “Theme” in Appearance settings under the “Customize browser” dark from the drop down box
  4. Select “Dark” from the drop-down box by the “Theme”.
