Enable or Disable the Startup Sound of Mac
You can enable or disable the startup sound of your mac easily from the System Preferences menu, here’s how:
Click on the Apple icon given on the top-left corner of Mac’s screen. From the drop-down menu, select the “System Preferences” option.
Click on the “Sound” button in System Preferences.
From the “Sound Effects” section, select the checkbox next to the “Play Sound on startup” to enable or disable the option.
The next time you’ll turn-on your Mac, it will make a startup sound or not according to the setting you chose.
