Inserting Emojis in Microsoft Word Document
Use the following keyboard shortcuts depending on your Operating System type to open the Emoji picker:
Windows 10: Press Windows key + . (Period key) or you can also press Windows key + ; (semicolon key) to open the emoji picker.
Mac OS: Press Control + Command + Space to open the emoji picker on MacBook.
iPhone, IPad, or Android: You can use the standard emoji keyboard in your device to insert emojis in your Microsoft Word document.
The first tab on the emoji picker shows the recently used emojis which you use frequently.
You can also type the name of the emoji to search for it. For example, If you want food-related emojis, type “food” and the emoji keyboard section with food items will come up. You can also scroll through the list of emojis to find the one you want to use.
To insert an emoji in your document, click on it or you can use the arrow keys to select it and then press ENTER/RETURN. The emoji you insert is resizable which can be done by adjusting their font size.
These emojis will appear when you open the document in MS Word or any other platform that has built-in support for emojis.
