In Windows 10, you can keep the start menu opened when opening multiple applications from the start menu. It is a hectic task when you want to open multiple applications and files from the start menu and you want to open the Start menu each time. The best way to deal with this is to keep the Start Menu open while opening applications.
Keeping the Start Menu Open
You can keep the Start Menu open just by pressing and holding the Windows key. For the apps, list and the pinned tiles view, you open the applications in the background which never comes into focus and the Start Menu always remain in focus and you can click on the tiles and/or browse the applications list.
The first time you need to release the Windows key to the Start Menu can open up, now press and hold the Windows key and then click on the tiles or apps in the list to open while the Start menu is open.
The full-screen version of the Start Menu works the same way. This will automatically close when you click on the tile or the app. You need to hold down the Windows key.
