iOS 14 and iPad OS 14 introduced the new feature that allows the user to pin conversation in the message’s app on your iPhone or iPad. You can pin up-to nine of your favorite conversations to the top. There are a number of ways that you can use to pin conversation in the Messages app.

Pinning Conversations in Messages app on iPhone
Before you try to pin a conversation in the Messages app, make sure that your device is currently running iOS 14. Follow the steps mentioned below to learn how to do it:
- Open the “Messages” app in your device and navigate to the conversation that you want to pin on the top.
- Swipe right on the conversation which will reveal the “pin” button. Tap on the “Pin” icon to immediately pin the conversation on top of the Messages app.
- The other way to pin a conversation is by tapping and holding on the conversation from the Messages app to archive messages options. From the pop-up menu, select “Pin (Contact Name)” to pin it on the top.

How to Quickly Un-pin a Conversation in Messages App
To quickly un-pin a conversation in the Messages app on iPhone or iPad, tap and hold the display picture to reveal more messages option.
From the menu that pops-up, tap on the “Unpin (Contact Name) option.
To pin/un-pin multiple conversations at a time, tap on the “Edit” button given on the top-left corner of the Messages app.
Choose the “Edit Pins” option from the pop-up menu.
Tap on the “Pin” icon next to the conversation to pin it.
To Un-pin a conversation, top on the “-“ icon to un-pin it.
