Restarting Android TV
Follow the steps mentioned below to perform the restart on Android TV.
Use the D-pad on your TV remote to select the “Settings” icon which looks like a gear given on the top-right corner of the Home Screen.
Some of the Android TV has a “Quick Setting” section from where you can perform the restart just by selecting the “Restart” option. However, you can do it from the “General Settings” section as well.
A drop-down menu will appear when you will select the “Settings” icon. From the menu, select the “Restart” option.
If your device lacks the “Quick settings” section, go to the “Device Preferences” in the General settings menu.
Next, click “About” in Device Preferences.
Here, you will find the “Restart” option. Select it to restart your Android TV.
The television will power off and you will see the bootup screen shortly after the restart. Hopefully, it will resolve the inconvenience you were facing before.
