In this guide, we will show you how you can turn your Windows 10 PC down using Command Prompt.
Shutting Down PC using Command Prompt
Here’s how you can do it:
- Open Command Prompt by typing “cmd” in the Start Search bar. Or open the run window by pressing Windows key + R and typing “cmd” in the text box and clicking “OK”
- After the command prompt is opened, type “shutdown /s” command.
- Once you will press the “Enter” key, a message will appear on the screen telling you that the system is about to be signed out. Press the “Cancel” button, but it won’t affect the shutdown process. Windows will shut down anyway.
