How to Shut down Windows 10 PC using Command Prompt

Shutting down Windows 10 PC through command prompt provides the user more preferences than shutting it down by simply pressing the power button or Shut down option.

  1. Open Command Prompt by typing “cmd” in the Start Search bar. Or open the run window by pressing Windows key + R and typing “cmd” in the text box and clicking “OK”command prompt
