Disabling Phone Noise Cancellation on iPhone
Phone noise cancellation works great with the low crowd but sometimes it can produce a spookily quiet conversation or unsettling audio artifacts when dealing will unpredictable sounds like small crowd noises or low-level background music. Here’s how you can turn it off:
Open the “Settings” app in your iPhone through the spotlight feature or by manually finding the app in your device and tapping on the gear icon to open it.
In Settings, navigate to “Accessibility”.
Scroll down to the “Hearing” section and tap on “Audio/Visual”.
Toggle off the “Phone Noise Cancellation” switch to disable it.
Exit the settings after making the changes. Noise cancellation will be turned off the next time you’ll make a phone call with the Phone app.
